BMW M5 Wagon
Watch out Mercedes-Benz, just when AMG got comfortable being the king of the luxury sport wagon segment with the E55 AMG Wagon BMW throws a surprise sucker punch.
What you see here is the BMW M5 Wagon, which is also being referred to as the M5 Touring. It was caught during track testing on the Nürburgring. You can see the classic quad-exhaust pipes which always adorn Munich's M-models. Also familiar are the rims that have been lifted directly off of its four-door brother.
Performance estimates suggest a quarter-mile time of 12.7 seconds. The Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG Wagon we tested in September of 2005 clocked the quarter in 12.5 seconds.
